Introducing our 2024 Benevolent Bear Collection, thanks again to the creativity and generosity of Lorraine Dippelsmann of Fig Tree Hollow.
Lorraine has handcrafted a total of seven unique bears for the 2024 Collection, each of which have their own special creature friend. The bespoke bears are fully jointed, made of mohair and have glass eyes.
These special bears have a special mission. Each of the handcrafted bears will be up for auction over the next few months with all funds raised going directly towards supporting people living with Parkinson’s and the work of Restoring Hope Parkinson’s Therapy.
Beginning the auctions, bears “Kevin” and “Scottie” (picture below) will be auctioned at the upcoming Step Out for Parkinson’s Event on Sunday, 30 June 2024. To view the bears before the auction or to place absentee bids, drop into the Mapleton Post Office prior to the event.
