RHPT’s Choir of Sound Intent are proud to bring you the most challenging production yet with songs and music from the first World War to today’s well known Australian songs.
This is with the support of the 2nd Light Horse Regiment – Woombye Troop, The Salvation Army Band Nambour Corp, and all the Volunteers.
Come and join in to such songs as a medley of Keep The Home Fires Burning, It’s A Long Way To Tipperery, Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag. The Spirit Of The Anzac, Abide With Me, The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, My Country, I Am Australian.
Hear read out actual excerpts from letters written home by Anzacs, some of whom never made it back; these in themselves are heart wrenching and you can feel what it must have been like in those trenches.
