Keeping Therapy Safe

4 common infectious diseases that we want to avoid spreading:

  • Common cold
  • The flu (influenza)
  • COVID-19
  • Gastro (Gastroenteritis)

The health and safety of clients, carers, staff and the broader community is our highest priority. The following actions can limit the transmission of these and other infectious diseases.

  • Stay at home if you feel unwell or if you are showing signs of illness.
  • Use hand sanitising station in foyer when you arrive and as you leave your appointment.
  • Wait in the reception area, until called by your Speech Pathologist, to allow therapists time to sanitise in between clients.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and sneezing
  • Dispose of used tissues in a bin that has a self-closing lid
